Markiian Moroz

Markiian Moroz joined u.ventures and Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF) as a Venture Associate in October 2024.

Markiian is responsible for supporting the Investment Team in evaluating potential investment opportunities, conducting market research, performing due diligence, and assisting with portfolio management.

Markiian brings a strong background in investment management, particularly in understanding startup dynamics, with a specialization in AI. His professional journey includes experience as an Investment Analyst at Roosh Ventures, where he enhanced his expertise in sourcing, screening, and analyzing early-stage startups while strengthening his financial modeling skills through the creation of efficient tools that improved operational performance.

Markiian holds a Bachelor of Economics from the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy” and a Master’s in Business and Financial Economics from the Kyiv School of Economics. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Finance at the National University of “Kyiv-Mohyla Academy,” focusing his research on the financial determinants of stock performance.
