Yaroslav Honcharenko
Yaroslav joined UMAEF in September 2024 and coordinates the SME Direct Investment Program, a strategic initiative to drive the growth and resilience of SMEs in Ukraine and Moldova.
Yaroslav has a strong background in financial analyses and investment management, with an understanding of the energy, banking, and finance sectors. His professional journey includes experience as an Investment Analyst at Ukrenergo, where he enhanced his financial modeling skills and developed a strong passion for projects that contribute to the success of resilient businesses. Yaroslav also gained valuable experience at Capital Times and BrightOne Capital, where he specialized in late-stage growth, direct secondaries, and private equity investments.
Yaroslav holds an MSc in Entrepreneurial Economics from the University of Klagenfurt, Austria, an MSc in Corporate Finance from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (CFA Institute University Affiliation Program), and is currently pursuing a PhD from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the research topic: Attracting Investments for the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
