ANTRIM Incoming Tourism Forum Brings Together Industry Leaders to Advance Moldova’s Tourism Sector

On June 19, the National Association for Inbound and Domestic Tourism of Moldova (ANTRIM) hosted the 7th ANTRIM Incoming Tourism Forum, bringing together 110 representatives from the tourism industry, development partners, public institutions, local authorities, entrepreneurs, and international experts to discuss the future of inbound tourism in Moldova.

The forum served as a platform for exchanging ideas and strengthening collaboration across the sector, with discussions focusing on regional cooperation, tourism product development, digitalization, artificial intelligence, sustainable urban tourism, and the role of culture in supporting local economic development and resilient communities.

The event opened with remarks from Cristian Jardan, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Moldova; Stella Jemna, Country Representative for Moldova at the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF); Guido Beltrani, Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Moldova; along with other representatives of government institutions and local authorities.

More than a conference, the forum fostered meaningful dialogue and practical collaboration, highlighting the importance of partnerships in building a more competitive, innovative, and internationally recognized tourism sector. Participants explored new approaches to increasing Moldova’s visibility, improving visitor experiences, and unlocking the country’s tourism potential.

UMAEF supports the development of Moldova’s tourism industry as a driver of economic growth, entrepreneurship, and regional development. As the sector continues to evolve, digitalization and emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence—are becoming increasingly important tools for improving competitiveness and enhancing the visitor experience.
