Moldova Tourism Documentary Supported by UMAEF Screened at Parliament During Diaspora Days 2026

On August 6, as part of Diaspora Days 2026, an episode of Flavours of Romania and the Republic of Moldova was screened in the plenary hall of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova for around 80 members of the Moldovan diaspora visiting Parliament.
The screening brought Moldova’s landscapes, traditions, and tourism destinations to the heart of the country’s Parliament, offering members of the diaspora an opportunity to reconnect with Moldova through its stories, culture, and places.
The documentary is part of an international tourism promotion project led by the National Inbound and Domestic Tourism Association (ANTRIM), with the support of the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF), in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Moldova and other partners.
The Moldova episode of Flavours of Romania and the Republic of Moldova, directed by renowned British journalist and filmmaker Charlie Ottley, has been available on Netflix since September 2025, bringing Moldova’s natural beauty, culinary traditions, people, and tourism potential to an international audience.
The screening at Parliament during Diaspora Days offered another opportunity to bring this story back home while showcasing the Moldova we want the world to discover.
