Deeptech Mentorship Program 2026 Strengthens Moldova’s Next Generation of Innovation Leaders

Twenty-five founders, researchers, Ph.D. candidates, students, and technology professionals from Moldova successfully completed the Deeptech Mentorship Program 2026, a five-week initiative implemented by Technovator with the support of the Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF) to accelerate innovation in advanced technology sectors.
Held from May 4 to June 8, the program provided participants with more than 65 hours of mentorship delivered by 11 international experts, including 50 one-on-one and 15 group mentoring sessions. Combining thematic workshops with personalized consultations, the program helped participants address the specific needs of their projects and strengthen their entrepreneurial and commercialization strategies.
The cohort represented a broad cross-section of Moldova’s innovation ecosystem, bringing together participants from the Technical University of Moldova, Nicolae Testemițanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Moldova State University, and independent innovators developing solutions such as Datanoc, SellwiseAI, CRCI Innovation, MARS SaaS, Al-Mizan RWA Project, and eligibil.org.
By connecting local innovators with experienced international mentors, the program supported the development of scalable, market-oriented solutions across a range of deep technology fields, including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, cybersecurity, energy, agriculture, and healthcare.
Through its support of initiatives such as the Deeptech Mentorship Program, UMAEF continues to strengthen Moldova’s innovation ecosystem by fostering entrepreneurship, advancing technology commercialization, and helping researchers and founders transform cutting-edge ideas into high-impact businesses.
