U.Ventures Invests $1.15 million into 3 Ukrainian startups

Established by Western NIS Enterprise Fund, U.Ventures invests $1.15 million into 3 Ukrainian startups: YouTeam, 3DLook and Pufetto.

Founded in 2016 by Vadim Rogovskiy, a serial entrepreneur from Odessa (co-founder of Clickky), 3DLook is an innovative solution for apparel retail and e-commerce that uses proprietary body measuring technology to make a perfect size and fit recommendations to consumers.

Founded in Lviv, Ukraine in 2014, YouTeam is a marketplace for hiring tech talent from software development firms. YouTeam has been launched with an ambitions vision to become “Booking.com for IT outsourcing”, a one-stop shop where businesses get access to top international engineering talent; find better suppliers; successfully manage remote teams and build projects in a secure and trusted environment.

Pufetto is Ukrainian furniture manufacturer and e-commerce player that enables customers to customize its furniture (sofas, armchairs, beds) through its online platform and have it delivered to door within 3-4 weeks. Pufetto sells furniture through the proprietary online platform, as well as via show-rooms in Ukraine and Germany.

Attracted investments will help startups to improve their products, hire new people and expand to new markets. Prior to these investments, U.Ventures has invested over $2.3 million into 6 companies, emerging leaders in their segments.
